>>> it has been weeks since dennis rodman traveled to north korea to meet with kim jong-un. since then people have dismissed rodman for how little he knew, but as ridiculous as people said his trip was, he did learn a few things about the mysterious north korean dictator. in an interview with "the sun" entitled why i danced with michael jackson with north korean tyrant, he described him as a cool guy who wears everyday, regular clothes and likes music and sports and stuff. we only see him in the military ensemb ensemble. the north korean leader likes '80s music which explains the dancing to michael jackson. however, the most revealing detail is what he said about kim jong-un's wife. according to rodman, quote him again, she's a beautiful woman, very elegant and quite tall for a korean, maybe 5'5'5". she kept talking about their beautiful baby daughter. that is a pretty amazing revelation. we know almost nothing about kim jong-un's wife and the fact that the couple might have a child is a state secret. last year we saw her for weeks and until now some speculated some she was pregna

. no follow-up ever took place. when we tried to reach sheriff dennis darby in january about the boys' claims, the sheriff told us to "not stir up trouble in his county", adding "you do something with this and i'll be coming after you." the panola county sheriff's department refuses to talk to us about this case as well. but we can tell you three and a half years later, the hit and run death of garrick burdette remains unsolved. and as far as we can tell, for three and a half years, the sheriff's department has done very little to find out what happened. has anybody from the sheriff's office investigators, d.a.'s office, been in contact with you? >> no. >> never? >> never. never. >> never came to ask if your son had any enemies, any problems with anybody? >> no. nothing. >> how can you say they are still investigating? >> i'm just going by what the paper -- what the paper say. >> reporter: last month, cnn again tried to ask the panola county sheriff's department about the unsolved hit and run death of ruby's son. this time, we advised the sheriff's department cnn would be airing this report.

could interpret as a threat, sheriff dennis darby is not talking to cnn. however, once our reporting brought national attention to this story and another more recent hit and run murder of an african-american, his department did actually start to do something. his department is now talking, at least, to the local paper. investigator brown arnold reaching out with a new account can of the night garrick bre debt was killed. before spotting him, the investigating deputy noticed a car lingering at and leaving the scene. likely not the death car, but, quoting from the story, quote, he thinks that whoever was in that car might have seen something. yet there is no indication that anyone ever looked for that car or the potential witness who was driving it. and there's more. there was also physical evidence at the scene from the car that killed burdette. according to the deputy, quote, there was radiate or fluid all moefr the road, meaning a broken car yet no indication the deputies checked local graunls at the time to see if a car had maybe come in for repairs, brought possibly by a driver cl
